External Relations and Government Liaison professional with experience in strategic communication, humanitarian coordination,journalism, media and public-interest media engagement in complex political and administrative environments. I have worked closely with government institutions, local administration, and civil society actors to support coordination, advocacy, and operational communication. My responsibilities have included drafting official correspondence, briefing notes, press releases, and background materials; facilitating engagement between authorities and communities; and supporting multi-stakeholder coordination processes. I bring hands-on humanitarian experience through emergency response and community-level coordination during major flood operations in Bangladesh. These roles involved liaison with district administration, local government offices, and community representatives; field assessments; beneficiary identification; and oversight of relief distribution—ensuring accountability, transparency, and effective information flow. Alongside humanitarian engagement, I have led and supported media and communication initiatives focused on governance, public policy, and social accountability. I have experience operating in politically sensitive contexts, managing reputational risks, coordinating with diverse stakeholders, and ensuring accurate, responsible public communication. My academic background in Mass Communication and Journalism, complemented by postgraduate studies in Journalism, has strengthened my analytical, research, and drafting skills. I am fluent in Bangla and English and comfortable preparing briefing notes, donor-facing updates, advocacy content, and structured reports for national and international audiences. I am keen to contribute to international and humanitarian organizations in roles that require strong government engagement, inter-agency coordination, and strategic communication to support humanitarian operations and stakeholder trust. Trained on UNHCR–IOM standards for protection of migrants and refugees, with focused knowledge on State obligations, coordination mechanisms, and international protection frameworks.
