Dr. Mahbubur Rahman Munshi

Good day. I am Prof Dr. Munshi Mahbubur Rahman, psc, presently serving as Professor dept of EEE, University of Asia Pacific (UAP), Bangladesh. I am a former faculty member (Professor) of Military Institute of Science and Technology (MIST). I have served in various positions at the department and faculty level of Military Institute of Science and Technology (MIST), Dhaka, including Head of the EECE department and Dean, in the faculty of ECE from March 2006 – November 2019. I have also served in American International University (AIUB), Prime University and Northern University Bangladesh, as Chairman EEE in recent past. I was consultant for Electrical Safety in EPZ Dhaka, BPDB & Power Cell project. I have served 34 years in Bangladesh Navy and retired as a Captain. I have commanded two top ranked dockyard of Bangladesh, namely; Chittagong Dry Dock Ltd and Bangladesh Navy Dockyard, Chattogram as General Manager. I have more than 18 years of faculty experiences with a good number of high quality research papers and 20 years of leadership experiences. During my Naval career, I have successfully commanded United Nations multi-national force in Western Shahara (2003-2004), in a very tense situation. By the nature of military job, I have the basic skill of administration, training and human resource management. I have got a Graduation degree in Command and leadership from Royal Command and Staff College, KSA.
