Mosammat Jahan

I am Mosammat Israt Jahan. I was born in 14 Apr 1981 at Ashugonj , Baria. My father Md Ramiz Uddin Miah (Late) was a govt officer in ZFCL. I am the second children of my parents. I was commissioned from BD Army in 2004 in the Signal Corps as 2 Lt. Since then I served BD Army in different capacity.  Presently I am serving in Army HQ  as Lt Col (Grade staff Officer-1).  I am married and blessed with a beautiful daughter. I want to switch my profession and looking for better opportunity.

Based on my deployments during my career for the last ten (18) years, I have acquired both experience and skills that are relevant to my professional career. I have ten (18) years of Military experience in the Bangladesh Army. While deployed in the force, my primary duties include Developing and implementation of both internal and external security strategies for the Unit, identifying the key security challenges and how to address them. I have the relevant training in staff work in addition to which I have gained vast experience on the international front while serving in an UN Mission (United Nations Multidimensional Integrated Stabilization Mission in Central African Republic - MINUSCA). I was deployed as a Military Staff Officer (MSO) in charge of communication and Information for one (1) year. 

 I am a holder of a bachelor’s degree in Military Science, Graduated from Military institute of Science and Technology in Computer Science and technology. I have short trainings on Radio Telephony, Staff work, pay matters, Regimental Administration and Micro UAV operation all of which contribute to my versatility and experience. Presently i am undergoing (Thesis part is left)masters in CSE at MIST. I have undergone many Military training besides my civil education. Additionally, i have completed my masters in Military studies from Defense Service Command and  Staff College (Mirpur). I have also completed many short courses from home and abroad.
