I have vast Knowledge of effective teaching and learning as well as Knowledge of current English as an Additional Language (EAL) teaching practices and strategies. I know how to translate curriculum documents into cohesive teaching programmes and understand Assessment for Learning (AfL) principles and practices. I am also habituated to effective classroom and behavior management practices. I know very well how second language acquisition occurs and I follow up extra-curricular activities (ECAs) of my students. I possess cultural and professional adaptability, flexibility, excellent interpersonal and administrative skills including teaching records and student learning. I believe in safeguarding children and young people in all circumstances. I like to attend workshops, professional groups, conferences and other events which take place out of school hours as well. I am punctual for all professional commitments and proficient user of Word, Excel and Power Point.
