    Senior DevOps Engineer (AWS / Kubernetes / Web Applications)

    The Role:

    As a
    Senior DevOps Engineer
    , you will own the infrastructure that powers our web applications. You'll architect, deploy, and manage Kubernetes clusters, optimize CI/CD pipelines, and ensure our systems are secure, scalable, and cost-effective. You will collaborate closely with developers, QA engineers, and product teams to streamline deployments and make our development workflow as frictionless as possible.

    What You'll Do:

    • Design, deploy, and manage Kubernetes clusters (K3s/ custom setup cluster in the cloud) and containerized workloads
    • Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for PHP/Laravel, , and Go applications
    • Automate infrastructure provisioning with IaC tools (Terraform, Pulumi, CloudFormation)
    • Write and maintain Bash, JavaScript, or TypeScript scripts for automation tasks
    • Set up secure VPS or EC2 instances for staging/production deployments
    • Configure and manage AWS services such as EC2, RDS, SES, S3, Lambda, API Gateway, ALB/ NLB and VPC. Must have very good understanding of these and AWS permission and security principals.
    • Monitor and optimize system performance, uptime, and cost efficiency
    • Implement server and network security best practices, including firewalls, IAM policies, SSL/TLS, and intrusion detection
    • Collaborate with developers to troubleshoot deployment issues and improve developer experience
    • Participate in on-call rotation and incident response to ensure system reliability
    • Perform load and stress testing of web applications/ servers.
    • Provide estimated concurrency limit of the deployment together with developer team.
    • Setup robust real-time monitoring setups, like: Prometheus, Grafana and/or ELK stack.
    • Setup reliable and scalable CI/CD pipelines

    Educational Requirements

    • Bachelor of Science (BSc)
    • Skills Required: Cloud Computing, AWS Service

    • At least 5 year(s)

    What We're Looking For
    :

    • 5+ years of experience in DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering, or Infrastructure Engineering
    • Expert-level skills with Linux system administration and server hardening
    • Deep hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes (cluster setup, scaling, monitoring)
    • Strong scripting skills in Bash, JavaScript, or TypeScript
    • Familiarity with PHP/Laravel environments (bonus)
    • Solid understanding of web application architecture and deployment patterns
    • Experience managing relational databases (MySQL/PostgreSQL) and backups/ restore
    • Strong knowledge of AWS services (EC2, RDS, SES, S3, Lambda, API Gateway, ALB, NLB and other web application related services)
    • Experience implementing CI/CD pipelines and integrating automated testing
    • Good understanding of networking (DNS, TLS, load balancing) and server security

    Nice to Have:

    • Experience with logging/monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana, Loki, ELK stack)
    • Familiarity with cost optimization strategies on AWS
    • Knowledge of NATS, Redis, or message queues for distributed systems
    • Experience with advanced Kubernetes networking
