Sales Support Officer - Rangpur

Job summary

Support the semen sales team through efficient coordination of orders, inventory, farmer communication, FSP & SSP coordination and reporting, ensuring smooth sales operations and achievement of business targets.

Responsibilities

• Sales Coordination & Order Management
• Receive, verify, and process semen orders from Support Service Providers (SSPs).
• Coordinate with production and distribution teams to ensure timely order fulfillment.
• Track pending and completed deliveries, resolving discrepancies proactively.
• Inventory & Distribution Support
• Monitor semen inventory levels at the bull station and distribution points.
• Coordinate with distribution for replenishment planning and stock movement.
• Maintain records of dispatches and stock balances.
• Customer Communication & Support
• Act as first point of contact for FEP and SSP inquiries, order confirmations, and delivery schedules.
• Provide timely updates on pricing and promotional schemes.
• Collect feedback and share insights with the sales team for continuous improvement.
• Sales Reporting & Data Management
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly sales reports for management review.
• Maintain up-to-date sales data, territory-wise performance, and customer database.
• Support the sales manager in tracking achievement against sales targets.
• FSP & SSP Coordination
• New trainee data sourcing, collection, validation, funding and placement for DLS approval
• Training management and FSP batch wise allocation.
• Maintain up-to-date databases for all training activities and batch-wise FSP records.
• Keep up-to-date with FSP training course coordinator
• Collect and assist in validating proposed or new SSP data, and maintain complete databases regarding SSP profiles.
• Cross-Functional Coordination
• Liaise with accounts for invoice generation, payment status, and credit control.
• Coordinate with marketing for promotional material distribution and campaigns.
• Work closely with field sales officers to track performance and assist in meeting KPIs.
