Job Description / Responsibility

Job Context:

To support our growing operations and enhance the efficiency of our Merchandising team, we are looking for dynamic and detail-oriented Trainee/Junior Merchandiser.

This role is designed for individuals who are passionate about the apparel industry and eager to build a career in merchandising.

The selected candidate will work closely with senior merchandisers and cross-functional teams to assist in order execution, supplier coordination, and production follow-ups.

Job Responsibilities:
Assist the Merchandiser/ Sr. Merchandiser in handling buyer accounts and daily merchandising activities.
Coordinate with factories, suppliers, and other departments for order progress.
Support in preparing purchase orders and follow up on samples, trims, and production status.
Communicate with buyers regarding sample approvals, comments, and order updates.
Prepare and maintain order sheets, costing sheets, and production status reports.

Support in sourcing raw materials, trims, and fabrics when required.
Follow up with the supply chain to in-house trims & accessories as per TNA plan.
Ensure product quality standards are maintained throughout the process.
Maintain accurate documentation and records related to orders and shipment.
Maintain order tracking files and update order status regularly.
Learn the end-to-end process of garment merchandising and production follow-up.
Compile data on the response that customers have given to the products.
Educational Requirements
Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Textile Engineering
Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.)/ Graduate in Textile Manufacturing or Apparel Merchandising from a well reputed institution

Skills Required:
Merchandising and Marketing, Microsoft Applications, Problem solving and decision making, communication and interpersonal skill.
Experience Requirements
At most 3 year(s)
The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s):
Garments,Textile
Freshers are also encouraged to apply.
Additional Requirements
Should be well-groomed, smart and energetic.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy, aiming for perfection
Should be able to handle MIS entries.
Must have skills in examining and establishing proper merchandising operations and procedures.
Good understanding of core business aspects
