Job summary
The Operation Manager will oversee day-to-day operational activities of the ICD terminal ensuring efficient container handling compliance with customs and port regulations safety security and optimal utilization of resources.
Responsibilities
- Manage overall ICD terminal operations including container receiving storage handling and delivery
- Coordinate with Customs Port Authority Shipping Lines Freight Forwarders and other stakeholders
- Maintain operational KPIs productivity reports and MIS
- Evaluate additional requirements liMinimum 8–12 years of relevant experience in ICD Container Terminal Port Shipping Lines Freight Forwarders or Logistics OperationsAt least 3–5 years in a managerial or supervisory roleExperience for claim handling issuesSkills & CompetenciesStrong knowledge of ICD/Port operations and customs proceduresLeadership people management skillsExcellent coordination communication skillsAbility to work under pressure manage 24/7 operationsProficiency in MS Office terminal operating systems TOS Strong analytical problem-solving abilities
