    Description

    Responsibilities & Context

    This is a senior-level role with responsibilities including providing accurate and timely financial reports to the Group Directors, conducting regular financial analyses, and auditing the company's books.

    To direct the day-to-day operations and activities of Accounts Officers in all financial matters using Tally software and to ensure that all sorts of transactions are in compliance with the documents related to the numerous daily tasks performed by Jamuna.

    To ensure the accuracy of all receipt/payment vouchers, keeping them organized in a way that makes them easily traceable, and Weekly accounts should be prepared and sent to the core committee for approval. Once authorized, they should be sent to the Nominated Audit team.

    Payment of Income Tax, VAT, and other taxes in a planned manner to avoid any inconveniences is necessary to stop fraud, forgery, and any potential money misuse and must ensure the safety, security, and preservation of all documents relating to accounts, including Cheque books.

    To maintain any form of Cash in a secure manner, notify the top management of it, and record it in a Ledger book duly signed by the Group Director.

    Maintain internal safeguards for revenue receipts, costs, and team and organizational budgets and actual expenditures.

    Establish accounts and operating benchmarks, budgets, program monitoring, and reporting standards on biweekly, monthly, and annual basis.

    Collaborate, design, implement and review accounting systems, policies and procedures to ensure continuous improvement and contemporary relevant practices.

    Manage relationships with others across the Group to achieve alignment in key business strategies and decisions.

    Build productive working relationships with stakeholders in order to understand their business operations and the accounts information needs of end users.

    Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls and do additional controller duties as necessary.
