B. 6 months Teaching experience  at Haji Danesh Agriculture College 

C. 3 years Research experience (SDC, GIZ funded project at OFRD, CIDA funded project at Soil Science Division), Bangladesh Agricultural Research Institute (BARI).

SKILLS: My skills in the field of Agriculture (Crop Production and Protection), soil health & fertilizer management, capacity building, climate smart agriculture(vulnerabilities and impacts, mitigations, adaptations, natural/ecosystem-based solutions, etc.), project planning, preparation and management as Project Director (PD), gender, formal and non-formal education, monitoring and evaluation of the project activities. Experience in farmers’ poverty elevation, livelihood development, Women empowerment, Capacity building,climate change adaptation, drought,salinity,waterlogging,value chain,agribusiness,disaster management(disaster preparedness, non-structural mitigation, prevention, response etc.), safe food and food & nutrition security (agriculture, livestock, and fisheries)  through DANIDA funded Integrated Farm Management (IFM), which covered integration among the Crops, Livestock and Fisheries through Farmer Field School (FFS) and Farmer’s Organization (FO) approaches with staff,financial management, government and non-government agencies at home and abroad. 

Experience in GO, NGO, private sector and farmers’groups strong networking. Worked as a core resource person of several curriculum and training module development for IFM FFS. Expertise on safe agro-product exports, import, laboratories and plant quarantine issues.

Worked as a lead facilitator in several Training of Trainers (ToT), Refreshers cum planning workshop and Market Linkage for Farmers Facilitator (FF), Producer Groups member and Collection Points.Conducted training on Good Agricultural Practices (GAP) for Business Focal Person (BFP) and all, departmental officers and others (UNDP-CHT), British America Tobacco Bangladesh (BATB).Organized several event of projects-workshop, seminars, review meetings etc. and  prepared proceedings.

I have earned above expertise through donor engagement in my carrier Research, Teaching & Extension-DANIDA funded program (Integrated Pest Management,Integrated Crop Management &Integrated Farm Management Component) and Department of Agricultural Extension (DAE).

Dr. Malaker has experience in conducting feasibility studies, baseline surveys, Participatory rural Appraisal (PRA) various assessments, mid-term evaluations, final evaluations/end-line surveys,questionnaire surveys, focus group discussions (FGDs), key informant interviews (KIIs), workshops, public consultation, expert consultations, field observations, SWOT analysis, case studies, etc.

Dr. Malaker has proficiency in  MS Office (word, excell & powerpoint) Outlook Express & Browsing Software. He has received 28 training (home and abroad), produced scientific publication 07 in international and 13 in national journals, and 154 features in agriculture knowledge related tosafe food and  nutrition security, the environment, climate change,disaster management, etc. in the national dailies and magazines.
