Currently I am working as Communication Officer under International Fertilizer Development Center (IFDC), to implement the USAID funded Feed the Future Bangladesh Climate Smart Agriculture Activity. My responsibilities include developing and implementing a communications strategy to connect key stakeholders, coordinate with USAID’s communications team to ensure activities are aligned with Mission priorities. I also create press releases, pamphlets, project factsheets, success stories, and daily social media postings as part of project communications. Travel frequently throughout the Zone of Influence (zoi) areas (21 districts), capture appropriate images and videos, and assemble them into impactful narratives. Verify that all visible papers and communications adhere to USAID branding and marking requirements and approved messages. Develop materials and publications for diverse audiences i.e farmers, seed & fertilizer companies, agriculture related private sector stakeholders and govt offices. 

Previously I worked as an Assistant Manager, PR and Communication Department for Gemcon Group in Dhaka, Bangladesh. My responsibilities include developing, driving, and evaluating PR strategies and programs in support of the company's business objectives and revenue targets. I regularly prepare news and launch activities for 12 unique strategic business unit’s, including coordinating media and analyst interviews, tours, events, generating releases, presentations, and other materials as appropriate. I produce internal and external communications and media materials based on data-driven analysis and measurable expected outcomes. Activating and ensuring implementation of processes and programs to meet the company's long-term sustainability goals in partnership with cross-functional teams and key stakeholders. I also developed innovative PR practices across different SBU's of the company. My role involves designing and leading PR and CSR/Sustainability strategies, standards, and direction. I also cultivate and maintain relationships with top media and industry leaders, both nationally and globally.

  • Develop and implement a communications strategy to connect key stakeholders with project activities USAID funded Feed the Future Bangladesh Climate Smart Agriculture Activity.
