Myself Sharif Mohammed Emran, born in Comilla, Bangladesh. I am a Marine Chief Engineer. Presently working for NYK Shipmanagement Pte Ltd, Singapore.

Motivated Marine Engineer with 30 years of experience ensuring that ships comply with international standards and regulations. Skilled in supervising and training crew members and fellow engineers for emergency responses and routine shipboard duties. Driven professional with excellent communication skills and the ability to properly enforce marine regulations. Superior team player with natural leadership abilities.

Started my carrier as Marine Engineer in 1991. Have worked on various types of ocean-going vessels (Bulk carrier, General cargo, Tanker, PCC, and Container).

Past 16 years working as Marine Chief Engineer onboard large and ultra-large container vessels having high powered electronic controlled propulsion engines. 

Have completed the Advanced Diploma of Marine Engineering from Sydney Institute of Technology, Australia in 1998. Am holding Engineer Class-1 CoC, issued by Australia. Recently have completed  Master of Business Administration from Conley University, Hawaii, USA.
